Role Summary:
The Curriculum Design and Development Consultant is responsible for learning design, development, facilitation, and client consultation related to the wireless programs across all Lines of Business. This role partners with others in Learning & Workforce Capability, HR Business Partners, the wireless team, and the business leaders to determine learning needs for wireless including product, process, sales, support, and troubleshooting. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and updating content, delivering, and continually providing updates that encompass all aspects of the CCI wireless business. The position evaluates learning solutions and measures business impact to refine and enhance future recommendations. This role is also instrumental in taking an enterprise-wide approach to wireless training. Additionally, this role will be responsible for classroom, eLearning and virtual delivery of solutions as needed.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Consults with HR Business partners and business leaders on wireless learning needs to support business and enterprise strategy
Manages, designs, and develops the content utilized within lines of business to ensure learning solutions are consistent and align to the Target State Learning Roadmap
Performs skills and competency gap analysis and determines if gap can be addressed through development experiences.
Coordinates and manages end-to-end course development and ongoing revisions for lifecycle maintenance
Applies adult learning principles, theories, and concepts to curriculum
Facilitates curriculum or identifies appropriate internal/external partners to perform delivery utilizing
various modalities including instructor led, virtual, eLearning and asynchronous and synchronous learning
Facilitates train the trainer sessions as needed to ensure training is optimized and programs meet the objectives to drive the job performance and skill proficiency of learners
Acts as dedicated content writer and vets training content, ensuring consistent vernacular, tone, voice, terminology; manages the approval of visuals, graphics, and video/audio
Proficient at creating learning evaluation strategies to confirm learning objectives have been met
Elicits feedback from leaders and learners to ensure relevant and actionable training of both new and existing curriculum that drives
wireless capability requirements in order to improve
business outcomes and support the organizational culture.
Qualifications:
Required
8 years of related experience (e.g., content development, adult learning, leadership development, etc.)
5 years
curriculum and content development experience for adult learners from inception to delivery
Possesses the ability to effectively analyze problems and reach solution in a timely manner
Proven results with strategic thinking, creativity, and deployment of training initiatives linked to business outcomes.
Demonstrated experience using technology tools to create multimedia content (Articulate 360, Storyline, RISE, Adobe Suite (particularly Illustrator and Photoshop), podcasting tools, HTML5, Google Apps, etc.)
Demonstrated strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement strategic learning solutions.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Solid and in-depth knowledge and understanding of Leadership and Management theories, competency models, development strategies and content with linkage to Talent Management strategies
Ability to work collaboratively across divisions, functions, and levels
Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.
Effective communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to adapt to different levels within the organization
Demonstrated ability to influence and implement changes in an evolving virtual and matrixed environment
Knowledge of various types of learning evaluation methods and tools
Strong desktop skills in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or equivalent work experience
Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related field
Highly preferred: Bi-lingual (Spanish)
Knowledge of components and dynamics of business operations
Experience in the telecommunications industry, customer service, and/or sales
Experience in developing enterprise-wide learning solutions
