Description
The Senior IT Project Manager assembles and leads the project team, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of project. Often actively manages stakeholder partnerships and mitigates risks. Familiar with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. When managing programs, oversees the interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects, and sets strategies and leads program execution to deliver longer term business value. Can possess specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC - Agile /SAFE) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
•Ensure high delivery standards that meet Humana’s SDLC requirements
•Schedule and budget management including master schedule and work stream level task management
•Effective Program reporting (Executive and Stakeholder) on Status, Risks, key metrics with effective visual aids (graphs, burn charts, heat maps)
•Data analysis skills (Excel, MS Project)
•Understand the business value and benefits of the project
•Ensure risk, issues, and dependencies are effectively managed following defined escalation processes
•Organizational Change Management•Enterprise wide implementation•Hold the teams accountable•Challenge partners / stakeholders / Vendors when needed in a professional way•Vendor management•Results and goal driven•Facilitate purpose driven meetings and discussions
•Excellent communication skills (verbal, ,and written in a clear concise manner)•Positive attitude in conflict resolution and building team synergy•Adhere to the PMO standard processes and governance routines

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field
10 or more years of technical project management experience with at least 5 years in telecommunications/voice technical experience in a complex call routing environment
Strong Knowledge with contact center technology platforms, specifically Avaya and Oracle SBC products.
Knowledge of IVR, Call Recording and Outbound Dialing technologies
Strong knowledge of SIP/IP Telephony and Telecom Carriers.
Experience managing/scheduling telecom technical team tasks including architects, engineering and operations
Requirements gathering, data modeling, API integration, and specifications for new web based applications
Knowledge of Contact Center specific reporting metrics, SLAs and data elements
10 or more years of technical and project management experience
Demonstrated experience in practical implementation of Project and Program IT solutions.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration
Longevity working in enterprise systems HR, Engineering, Networking, Operations, Facilities, data warehouse, decision support and reporting system environments
Agile coach / Scrum Master certification
Experience in the health solutions industry
