Job Summary

Responsible for managing the development, coordination, and completion of Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and proactive proposals from proposal kickoff preparation through final submissions, as well as revisions and follow up presentations as needed. Coordinate resources for and manage others in proposal development and writing.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


Lead cross functional proposal teams to produce winning proposals for the Enterprise Managed Solutions organization.

Review and analyze Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) requirements to develop win strategy and make assignments to subject matter experts.

Develop a timeline for responding to requirements with sufficient time for content and compliance reviews.

Prepare proposal artifacts, including providing standard content, proofreading, and formatting.

Manage multiple proposals at one time

Ensure compelling, complete, and compliant proposal responses reflect win strategy elements and align to evaluation factors and criteria.

Assist with pre and post RFP activities, as needed, to ensure messaging is consistent with win strategy.

Support other proposal operations activities, such as RFP content database updates, processes, tools, templates, and boilerplate materials.

Assist with other channel RFPs, for example for mid-market sales teams.

Maintains a high level of technical expertise and sales proficiency to meet the reporting needs on client activity.

Generates daily activity reports, reporting and trends.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Experience & Education


Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required

At least 3 years of experience managing proposals is required

Experience with large, Fortune 1000 company proposals is desirable

Experience in telecommunications, networking, IT, or managed services is strongly preferred

APMP Foundation certification is desirable

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, at times with rapid turnaround times

Ability to lead teams effectively under proposal deadline pressure, while encouraging enthusiasm for the task

Proven ability to work well in a team, as well as independently

Must have the ability to present information to all levels of the internal organization and to external team members

Must be willing to work outside of normal working hours to meet customer-driven, firm deadlines, if needed

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required

Experience with graphics, desktop publishing or related field is a plus

Salary:

Pay Range: $92,352.80 - $138,529.20
